Durian Dreaming...

I have to confess, confess to the God of Durian, king of fruits. The other week, in Copenhagen visiting some fruits lovers, we had some frozen Durian. First bite was ok, wasnt overwhelmed though, but it was ok.

Brought some Durian to my friend Eric (http://www.self-healing.se/index.htm) a few days later. We shared a small box of defrosted Durian. And something happened... dunno what, but the Durian suddenly tasted so good... so sweet and just, just... unbelievable nice. And since, Ive had Durian on my mind. Wanting more!!

Addictive...

Went to Asian market here in town - they didnt have any... aaarrrrgh... So now what?? I have to wait until February - until I visit Thailand??! Thats like, like one and a half month! Grrr... Have to survive on clementines and dates. While dreamin of Durian... life is tough...

Peace out to all you Durian lovers out there /A

Thank you God, Mother Earth and Spain for Citrus

Most frequent foods on my plate right now: Clementines, Dates and Cucumber. In that order. Starting the day with citrus juice, as much juice as I have time to prepare... usually a liter or so. If I only drink a liter Id have to eat some bananas as well to last until lunch.
Dinner has been pretty much the same now for days: dates and cuke and some lettuce. The Medjools coming through to Sweden right now are just the best. Had some the other day, I kid you not, they tasted JUST LIKE TOFEE, CHOCOLATE TOFEE. Sooo nice. Wouldnt you want that for dinner??... :)

Dates, Cuke, Citrus Juice and some Date pudding

Weather wise here in small-town Sweden: Snow. Even more coming down today. So much snow out here now, dont know where all this is gonna end! Just hoping my plane to Bangkok will leave on schedule in February...

All for now - peace /A

Snow... lots of snow..

Snow here in Katrineholm... lots and lots of it. In my dreams durian and sun... will soon be there, Thailand...

But for now, I´m happy with lots of oranges, cucumber and the odd banana and melon. Not much happening in the fruit-n-veg department in the shop. Persimmons are fun but few and would have liked some more and cheaper cherimoya. But hey, I´m not complaining - I´m feeling well, got loads of energy and positive vibrations going on :)

Orange-tomatoe-date soup tonight, on top of a salad. Super.

I´m in the state of moving-working-got yoga on my mind - kind of state, so pics and more blogging will be manifested coming up.

But for now - lots of love /Alex
